I had a wonderful time at Bonjour Saigon. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was amazing! I got the Vietnamese Breakfast Benny, and my husband got the Vietnamese Hash Bowl. The potatoes were crispy, hot, and salted perfectly. The Vietnamese coffee with salted cream is also a must try. Will definitely be back!

Talk about the hidden gem in Calgary! The chef was the owner and clearly very proud of his menu. There are only a few items on it so it is not like those restaurants that have tens or hundreds of options each with a slight difference. I first tried the mushroom and tofu salad roll. It was very unique and made with fresh greens. My main dish was fried noodles with chicken. My only complaint is that why the dish was small. I am leaving a bot hungry, but importantly craving more! The taste and spices have created a fiesta in my mouth and I will bring family and friends back with me to share the joy.

Delicious food, especially if you are looking for something unique that you won't find anywhere else. The portions are also very reasonable for the price. My only comment is the service we received from our waitress was lacking. She had forgotten we requested a hash brown substitution instead of fries and then rushed the kitchen to have the hash browns served right way which then resulted in the potatoes being undercooked. We also ordered a side of pancake towards the end of our meal which came out very raw. When we told our waitress she brought the pancake back to the kitchen and had them put it back on the griddle to cook more. The thing is I had already cut into the pancake with a used fork and knife, and the waitress was well-aware of this. This put us off because from an infection-control standpoint, food that has been touched by a customer is contaminated, therefore should never re-enter the kitchen and especially should not be placed on a surface where other customers' food are being prepared. If it wasn't for our server this would have been a 5-star review, but otherwise our visit here was overall a good experience and we will definitely be back to try more of the food. Update: My family and I returned to this restaurant and the staff were very apologetic about the service from our previous visit. They made a lot of effort to ensure things went well this second time and it did not go unnoticed. This business truly cares about customer satisfaction and this is a quality that is not easy to find with companies nowadays. I highly recommend eating here, it will definitely be enjoyable.

Place is small, tables are right by front door so it would be hard to eat in during cold winter. I had the banh mi hash bowl the 1st visit. On 2nd visit, I had chicken & waffles. Food is very good. Staff is nice and attentive. Will be back to try other dishes.

We had a satisfying meal featuring spring rolls, steak and egg, and sate noodles. The spring rolls were crispy and well-packed with fresh veggies, served with a tangy dipping sauce that added a nice kick.

First time going there with my partner, so I was super curious. Based on his prior experience I chose the lemongrass pork bowl with Hashbrowns. They were crushed, little potato cubes so I enjoyed them. Soft inside, crunchy outside(Had to get him to eat them all,I was full). I chose pork, but the taste of lemon grass was 1000% there. Love the Sunnyside egg, only way I'll eat it! I felt the portions themselves were fair. I had to get help from partner to eat it. We also ordered a black coffee and a Vietnamese iced coffee. Only get the iced coffee if you like sweets, because condensed milk is very very sweet(bonus for me).

A small little shop but it was a great dining experience! There's lots of Vietnamese restaurants in Calgary but Bonjour Saigon offers a slightly different perspective than all the others. We went on a Sunday morning and tried some of their breakfast dishes and their beef dip. Everything tasted great and our kids both loved their food as well! Service was fast and friendly. Not a lot of seats so we just enjoyed our meal and took off so others don't have to wait too long. (Not rushed or anything, just wanted to be respectful of everyone else). We will definitely come back soon!

Tried them for the first time for lunch today. It's tiny! But the food and service are way above the standard for hole-in-the-wall places. We started with a squid appetizer served with pineapple chunks in a herb aioli with purple onion and scallions. For my main dish I had a flavourful, hearty beef stew with rice noodles. Dessert was a matcha creme brulee topped with blackberries, blueberries, and mint leaf. So glad we finally stopped by!
